Chiunque possieda un server Aruba e abbia installato WordPress, avr\u00e0 prima o poi sperimentato l’odioso problema dell’aggiornamento di wordpress eseguito dalla Dashboard che manda completamente in crash il blog. Se non conoscete il problema, ora siete avvisati. Non provate ad aggiornare il vostro sito WordPress dalla Dashboard, su server Aruba. Il sito diventer\u00e0 inutilizzabile con un bel internal server error<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Con questa guida scopriamo invece, passo dopo passo, come fare a correggere questo errore, in modo da poter finalmente aggiornare in automatico il nostro blog.<\/p>\n

Client FTP e configurazione<\/h2>\n

Cyberduck \u00e8 un ottimo client FTP ed \u00e8 gratuito.<\/p><\/div>\n

Per prima cosa occorre possedere un client FTP ed entrare nella directory principale del nostro sito web. Io su Mac utilizzo Cyberduck<\/a> e mi ci trovo molto bene. Si tratta anche di un programma gratuito. Il file che andremo a cercare e scaricare sul nostro computer si chiama wp-config.php<\/em><\/p>\n

Dopo il download, possiamo aprire questo file con textedit o software simili, assicurandoci che venga aperto e poi salvato come documento in solo testo. In fondo al file bisogna incollare queste righe di codice:<\/p>\n

Inseriamo manualmente le nuove righe di codice in fondo al file wp-config.php<\/p><\/div>\n

A questo punto si pu\u00f2 salvare il file e ricaricarlo online, sovrascrivendolo a quello vecchio. In sostanza, abbiamo inserito un paio di comandi che servono a modificare i permessi dei file che WordPress va a installare quando si aggiorna.<\/p>\n

A questo punto possiamo tranquillamente tornare alla Dashboard di wordpress e procedere con l’aggiornamento automatico senza temere problemi! Non solo, da questo momento in poi,\u00a0non sar\u00e0 necessario pi\u00f9 alcun intervento manuale nemmeno per le future versioni.
