{"id":285,"date":"2008-04-01T06:39:14","date_gmt":"2008-04-01T06:39:14","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/thedarkmaster.wordpress.com\/?p=285"},"modified":"2016-03-16T21:43:38","modified_gmt":"2016-03-16T21:43:38","slug":"opens-mypaints-website","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.lucademarini.com\/thedarkmaster\/2008\/04\/01\/opens-mypaints-website\/","title":{"rendered":"Opens MyPaint&#039;s Website :)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hallo everyone, this is the new <a href=\"http:\/\/mypaint.intilinux.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">MyPaint Website<\/a> created and managed by me \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.lucademarini.com\/thedarkmaster\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/04\/mypaintwebsite.jpg\" title=\"MyPaint\u00a0Home\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.lucademarini.com\/thedarkmaster\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/04\/mypaintwebsite.jpg?resize=378%2C289\" alt=\"MyPaint\u00a0Home\" height=\"289\" width=\"378\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s not much webdesign here, I just developed the header and header Picture, the rest of the theme is a wonderful <a href=\"http:\/\/rockinthemes.com\/rockinsuckerfish-suckerfish-wordpress-theme-released\/\" target=\"_blank\">RockingSuckerfish theme <\/a>by\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/rockinthemes.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Rocking themes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>To what&#8217;s so special with this application, just download and try it. It finally gives us some hopes in the <a href=\"http:\/\/thedarkmaster.wordpress.com\/2007\/08\/12\/painting-programs-for-linux\/\" target=\"_blank\">Painting Simulation Scenary for Linux and OpenSource<\/a> in general. I love<a href=\"http:\/\/www.ambientdesign.com\/artrage.html\" target=\"_blank\"> ArtRage<\/a> for example but I don&#8217;t use it much because even if it is cheap, it is always proprietary so it is more a matter of ethics than anything else&#8230; then ArtRage needs <a href=\"http:\/\/www.winehq.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Wine<\/a> to run properly in linux since it is a Windows application&#8230; sure, myPaint is not yet at the high level of ArtRage but at least it is opensource and it is exactly yo make it become better and better in less time that I&#8217;m trying to push for its adoption and use \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>So please download it, use it and support it in any way!!! Visit the <a href=\"http:\/\/forum.intilinux.com\/index.php#9\" target=\"_blank\">forums<\/a>, donate to the project, money, code anything.
